It was the horror of this world that a thousand evils were visited on those who were blameless and no one was ever punished, and side by side with the greatest promise was nothing but misery and want. Children mutilated to make a choir of seraphim, their song a cry to heaven that heaven did not hear.

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

I am in the GRCC library and extremely bored. But dear god the guy next to me reeks, I want to throw a bar of soap at him! I just finished Cry to Heaven by Anne Rice a couple of days ago and that book was AMAZING! I cannot put into words how much I loved it, just that it is my new favorite book! And now I'm reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold (wow, not another Stephen King book?) and it's a bit different than what I usually read. It's quite an easy read, compared to the stuff I'm used to anyway, but that doesn't make it any less interesting.

Man, I can't find anything else to do on the internet, I already harvested everything on farmville and pretty much spammed my facebook to oblivion. Jeez, I'm starting to think this whole group of people around me stink...

So I`m lying in bed posting from my DSi, which I still find amazinglykick awesome! Sad American Idol post was sad... It`s just sad that I can`t fangirl with someone else about my obsession, just sayin`. By the way does anyone else besides me double space after their periods? I denno, I learnt to do that from my keyboarding class from high school and it`s just stuck. It actually makes me feel smarter, lol.

So Inoticed that NONE of my friends on LJ have updated lately AT ALL! I feel like I`m just writing in a secret journal that no one even reads... Well writing in here eases my urges to rant in real life so I guess writing all my thoughts out is a healthy thing to do but it`s sad to think that no one`s hearing me...

Anyway, let`s move onto a new topic! I just finished listening to Kris Allen's Falling Slowly and I will never get over how friggin' beautiful that song is! Especially when it's sun by him, *sigh*. And I really can't get enough of Adam Lambert's A Change is Gonna Come. So passionate! I was really bummed that Kris wasn't able to sing Falling Slowly on tour, apparently it wasn't much of a tour kind of song since it's a slow ballad and all... But still, some of the other Idols got to sing sappy ballads! Ah well, hopefully he'll sing it went it comes time for his solo tours. Ahh, wishful thinking. And god, Adam's David Bowie medley on the tour was INSANE! Yes I went to the tour so shoot me. The way he ripped his jacket off during the performance nearly killed me. The dancing, the provocative movements...those hips, god that man is a sin. If tjis is how he's gonna be on an American Idol tour then I can't wait until his solo tours!

Okay, my hand is really starting to hurt from all of this stylus keyboard typing. Well speak of the devil, Adam's A Change is Gonna Cone just started playing on my iriver! Well, I'll update for you guys later...what guys I wonder, huh?

It sucks not having friends who like American Idol (my obsession). Haaah, whenever I try to talk to them about it they pull a 'seriously?' then tune everything else I say out. C'mon, what's wrong with being passionate about something a little 'funny'?

Sorry, just had to do that!

Hmm, just finished watching this and yum, curse you Adam Lambert, you just make the "they're either taken or gay" to a whole other level! But anyway, I just got back from Sakura con yesterday! I had fun though it was a bummer that Ashley couldn't come. I dressed up in this gothic-lolita outfit I bought at hot topic, yeah shut up, this was my first time buying anything remotely like that, alright?! I guess it worked though since quite a few people asked for my picture!

Uh, don't feel very talkative today though I MUST tell you guys something hilarious that happened during my time there. Me and my friends were walking back to the hotel but we had to go the long way since the doors closer to the con are locked after 10pm. So the part of the hotel that we walk next to is all window so you can see everything that is going on inside. Well inside we could see a security panel thing with all these computers showing the security camera screens. And then there's a security guard on one of the computers who is TOTALLY looking at porn. Yeah, it was hilarious, we all started cracking up and tried to get Daniel to take a picture. He was too scared to though, of course.

And one strange thing about the con were there were a lot of hot guys there, what the hell?! *sigh* I had to stand in line for three hours to get to registration and the whole time I was staring at the back of a really cute guy's head that was three rows away from my line...yeah, I was a total horn dog that weekend but it wasn't my fault...Maybe I was just so deprived of hot guys in real life that I was just imagining them all, I mean, really, cute guys at an anime convention? *pfft*

So last night while I was watching American Idol I once again had to control my hormones...I was in the company of minors after all. But jeez, Adam Lambert, you are killing me, stop touching yourself, dammit! (wait...don't...ummm) Who'd of thunk that I'd have this kind of reaction to a "family channel". When I first heard him sing that...interesting cover of "Ring of Fire" I thought it was a little strange, wasn't sure what to think of it. But then I listened to him sing it again, no visuals or I'd get too distracted! And now I can't stop listening to it, it's amazing! I'm dying to listen to the studio version, I've heard that it's jaw droppingly awesome. Then again I couldn't expect anything less of Mr. Lambert.

Okay, I really need to stop gushing...but it's a little hard, I haven't been able to gush since Mr. Cook during his American Idol times. Hmmm, I need more Adam icons...

ARGH! I cannot find my DS, where the hell did I put it?! Ugh, and my dumb sister had to go and lose my computer key...I should probably go out and get a couple copies incase this happens again. Wow, either I'm gushing like a little fangirl or whining like a little bitch, aren't I fun to listen to?

(Written during art class in my notebook)

I'm supposed to be drawing right now, I'm in art class after all. But I'm just not feeling very artistic right now. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I was up till three attempting to write an essay about "The Blob" but being to distracted by the yaoi boy's love I have tucked away in my files. My concentration lately has been horrible! I don't think I'm gonna get any good grades this quarter...

At least I have a job though, money! It's gonna suck though, working and going to school at the same time. Plus I might have to miss American Idol! Speaking of Idol last night was incredibly bad!! It was worse than a bunch of drunk dudes singing karaoke, WHY?! The song choices, just atrocious. Only three were decent (well, okay, one was awesome, but I'll get into that later.) But God, looking back on season seven and the talent there just makes this bunch (minus one) look like a middle school choir.

But anyway, the performance that I really enjoyed was Adam Lambert's. It was a little manic but the vocals wre insanely amazing. Quoting Kara, who can hit those notes?! If you wanna se the performance click here. My sister and friends hated it, I guess they were turned off by his dance moves, (which I...enjoyed a little too much.) Personally I find him rather refreshing. He hit much higher notes than all the girls!! But okay, enough about Adam, lets talk about...

...Norman Gentle!! Seriously...I cannot believe he actually has fans on the AI forums. Sure the guy can be funny sometimes but I didn't laugh or even crack a smile when he was performing. I'm glad Simon doesn't like him, thank you Simon for being the only real judge on the panel. But yeah, I want him out! Please let the actual singers through! Also on the Idol forums someone posted the supposed results of the voting according to a certain site that can track which contestants get the most busy signals, which means a lot of people are voting for them. Well, guess who got the most? Norman Fucking Gentle. Adam was close by less than a thousand, but I mean, seriously? The guy's a one trick pony and it's not even that good of a trick! Alright, here's the contestants I want through: Most votes guy, Adam, most votes girl, Allison, and next highest vote getter, Kris.

So I have to have a 300-500 word essay about the 1958 movie "The Blob". It's supposed to be in a newsletter format and I wonder if I could add some humor into it? Because I mean, really, how can you not look at that blob and not get attacked by an insane craving for strawberry jello? Pluse I think it'll make it easier to write.

So I'm in the middle of the book "Misery" by Stephen King and it's freaky. It has such a feelnig of helplessness and being trapped. I can't wait to finish and watch the movie, I've heard that it's very good and even from some that it's the scariest movie they'd ever seen. Quite a few Stephen King moves weren't as good as the books but I supposed that's a given, if you've ever read anything of his you'll understand what I mean. I really liked "The Secret Window". Though I've yet to read the short story it's based on.

Alright I've writted way too much and it's almost time to go. Ugh...the blob...it creeps!!

But The Monster Is Not Incapable Of Love
02:13pm 17/02/2009

mood: Anxious
music: That one alishia keys song...
Once again I find myself in the college library working on a graphic design project that is due later in the evening. What does that say about me? Hmm, come to think of it I'm not just a procrastinator when it comes to homework and projects but also social things. Like having to call someone but putting it off as much as I can, like the doctor or someone. Also things like asking what my grade is...wait, that's kind of in the whole school area...eh, whatever.

So American Idol is on tonight! Though my boy is not performing tonight I'm still excited to see these people actually put on a real performance. Maybe someone will really stand out to me that didn't before because they didn't get enough air time. On another note a certain someone is performing tonight that I'm not awfully fond of. The evil side of me really hopes she totally screws up tonight...that evil cackling banshee in a cutesy girls clothing, curse you! I just can't stand that laugh of hers!

Well, I hope I'll see my boy and the other contestants watching this groups performance. It'll be fun to see if Nate (no, he's not my boy) makes any funny faces like the one he made when Tatianna got through. It's kind of depressing how much I look forward to this show, but I really need something to hold out for when I'm spending the whole day here stressing at school...

So yeah, hopefully this wait will be worthwhile!
